Showcasing... Thermal Interface Materials
Shin-Etsu MicroSi
Booth 801
Thermal Interface Materials developed and manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. exceeds thermal management requirements of high-performance semiconductor devices. Through superior heat dissipation, TIM allows electronic devices to remain cooler and increases their long term reliability. Typical applications include semiconductor devices: power transistors, ICs, CPUs, stacked memory modules or any application that requires a thermal solution.
Industries: Any that require a thermal solution
Hear what material Momentive Technologies Master Application Development Engineer, Bei Xiang is most excited for ahead of their session
"Thermally conductive dielectric polymer composites that offer both high breakdown voltage and low dielectric constant have garnered significant attention among thermal engineers seeking cooling solutions for high-power intelligent electronic components and devices used in EVs, 5G telecommunications, and intelligent home products."
Keynote: Defining Test Methods for Thermal Materials in Electronics
11:30am, Tuesday May 2
Test methods used by suppliers of thermal interface materials (TIM) and insulated metal substrates (IMS) materials have always been undefined and unclear, making it virtually impossible for designers and thermal engineers to compare multiple technical data sheets side-by-side and determine which material is superior for the application. Electronics trade association IPC has developed new reliable and repeatable test methods that could be a game changer for product designers and engineers.
