Dr Tod Policandriotes completed a BS and MS in Physics in 1998 and continued to get a PhD in Engineering Science with emphasis in Physics and Materials Engineering. He also obtained an AAS in Industrial Machining to be able to build ideas. After 18 years of teaching and performing materials R&D at SIUC he sold his small C/C CVI side business to Collins and took a position leading HTC and materials R&D in 2016. He has a total of 25 years of experience in High temperature composites (HTC) and many other friction materials, composites and alloys including thermal and mechanical testing/analysis. Currently, he is Chief Technologist at Collins Aerospace in the area of High Temperature composites and materials R&D. He maintains a home lab to continue researching unique materials and propulsion technologies in his free time.
PRASANNA SRINIVASAN
Marketing and Business Development, LORD Parker Corporation
Prasanna Srinivasan is the Global Market Manager at Parker LORD Corporation, with a focus on growing the company’s Electric Vehicle and Automotive business. Prior to joining Parker LORD Corporation, Srinivasan served as global segment leader, among other positions, at DuPont Electronics and a Senior Semiconductor Professional at IBM. He has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategy from Duke University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Prasanna serves on the board of directors at the Electric Drive Train Association, a trade association that conducts public policy advocacy for EVs.
JON GOLDSBY
Research Physicist, NASA Glenn Research Center
Dr. Goldsby is an expert in the application of science –based principles in the development of high temperature ceramic materials. As team leader for the functional ceramics group chartered to develop active materials for aerospace applications: sensors, actuators, high temperature elements, and electronics, which eventually became part of the technical portfolio of the Materials and Structures Division. He established new research capabilities and test methods at NASA Glenn that have allowed research in functional materials to support electric aircraft development. Dr. Goldsby has also conducted research in solid oxide fuel cells. In addition to having a Doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, he has also obtained both a B.S. in Physics from John Carroll University and a MBA from Cleveland State University. Dr. Goldsby has memberships in the American Ceramics Society, Materials Research Society and the Cuyahoga Astronomical Association.

Mechanical Engineer that started as a design application engineer in the HVAC Industry and moved to develop and design graphite heat exchangers for the chemical processing Industry. Richard has been on the Board of a Public Engineering Company, Managing Director of a number of companies and owner of a Rupture Disk manufacturing company that developed new manufacturing technology and patented product and has been associated with the Rupture Disk Industry for some 42 years.
PRAHIT DUBEY
Sr. Manager of Thermal Engineering, R&D, Romeo Power, Inc
Dr. Prahit Dubey is passionate about developing thermally efficient systems that can make a sustaining positive impact on the planet. His interests in green vehicle and energy storage technologies brought him to Romeo Power, where he currently works as the Sr. Manager and head of thermal engineering group. At Romeo, he dedicates his time in conducting R&D in the areas of CFD modeling and thermal management of Li-Ion battery packs and systems for automobiles, forklifts, and energy storage solutions. Dr. Dubey has authored several journal and technical conference publications and have contributed to the development of the battery technology and IP at Romeo Power. Prior to joining Romeo, he worked at Siemens PLM/CD-Adapco and helped OEMs achieve high thermal performance at component and vehicle level. Prior to that, Dr. Dubey had stints with Dresser Rand, and IBM.

Richard was awarded his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Oxford.

Jim McCarthy is a Senior Chief Engineer for the New Spaces Innovation within the Vehicle Group at Eaton. His previous roles were:
• Chief Engineer for the Vehicle, Technology and Innovation Group in Galesburg, MI
• Engineering Manager for Advanced Valvetrain Actuation for North American and Asian markets located in Marshall, MI
• Engineering Manager for Exhaust Aftertreatment Solutions located in Southfield, MI
Prior to joining Eaton, Jim worked on diesel engine technologies at Detroit Diesel for 8 ½ years.
Jim has focused his engineering career on conserving fossil fuels and reducing emissions by creating organic growth solutions through innovation, product development, intellectual property and publications for the best powertrain solution of engine and electrification. Growth objectives and trust are augmented through data driven evidence to support technology solutions and continued relationships with Partners, Government, Industry, Academia, Research Laboratories and Customers.
McCarthy received his Ph.D., Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
