PRODUCT SHOWCASE

ROBUST QUICK DISCONNECTS FOR LIQUID COOLING

CPC’s Everis™ LQ line of quick disconnects (QDs) are purpose built for liquid cooling applications. These robust and reliable latched quick release couplings complete fluid loops single-handedly with a push and are easily disconnected by pressing down on the ergonomic thumb latch. An audible CPC “click” and sensory feedback helps relay connection success for assurance and peace of mind.

Made up of a body and an insert, CPC latched Everis quick-release couplings are typically color coded red or blue to help technicians identify which part of the cooling loop is associated with the connector. They are available in a wide range of sizes and configurations for use in a broad variety of applications. In fact, some models of CPC Everis LQ connectors are available in elbow or swivel joint configurations for ease of installation and maintenance as well as optimization of loop layouts in tight spaces.

“We are thrilled to be participating in the inaugural Thermal Management Expo in Cleveland this summer. Thermal engineers deserve to have their own focused event and visitors will learn first-hand how satisfying it is to hold CPC’s ergonomic Everis™ quick disconnects in their hands and engage the connection. Of course, we expect that there will be abundant opportunities to make networking “connections” as well!!

ZEON CORPORATION

Zeon’s thermal interface material (TIM) boasts one of the stronger thermal performances at 38 W/(m・K). In Zeon’s TIM, a high surface area, highly conjugated carbon material is used to facilitate in-plane thermal transfer. The in-plane characteristics of conjugated materials allows for very stable but resonant molecular vibrations to efficiently pass heat through the material. In order to maximize TIM performance, the carbon material is oriented in the z-direction, or thickness direction, of the material to move heat from one surface to another. Additionally, the TIM is supported by a special elastomer that is resistant to thermal degradation and maintains compressibility that make the TIM user-friendly. Finally, the TIM has significant mechanical robustness and can be handled as a rubbery sheet that is easily cut into a variety sizes, shapes, and thicknesses.
